Photovoltaics – roof installation

There are several methods of roof installation. First to be established is whether the roof in question is sloping or flat.

On sloping roofs, some of the roof tiles must be removed to attach the roof hooks. There must always be a direct joint to the substructure (roof truss). This joint makes the structure very stabile and insensitive to wind, snow and rain.

On flat roofs, the issue is somewhat more complicated because here clarification is first required as to whether the structure can be bolted to the roof cladding or whether only loading of the support is possible on the roof.
